Severe and Persistent Mental Illness Partial Hospitalization Program
This partial day program is for adults with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI), such as bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder and schizophrenia, who are stable enough to live at home during treatment.
SPMI Partial Hospitalization Program Details
The SPMI PHP runs Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is twenty in-person sessions over the course of four weeks with lunch provided.
Patients meet with a psychiatric provider once a week to manage medications. SPMI PHP focuses on CBT, DBT and life skills.
Group meetings include:
- Art and music therapy
- A pharmacy group
- One family session
