Konoy K. Mandal, MD, MS
Chief Medical Officer, Director of ECT Services, ECT Physician
Dr. Mandal has more than 15 years of experience in psychiatry. He received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis and his medical degree from the University of Miami. He completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the Isaac Ray Center/Rush-Presbyterian Hospital and residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University. He is triple boarded–in General Psychiatry, Psychosomatic Medicine and Forensic Psychiatry. Before actualizing his passion for medicine, Dr. Mandal was working on a PhD in Physical Chemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Before joining Centennial Peaks Hospital, Dr. Mandal was the Medical Director of the Department of Psychiatry at Baptist-Lutheran Medical Center in Kansas City, where he also directed ECT services. In addition to ECT, Dr. Mandal has specialized training and experience in General Medicine, Eating Disorders (including as the Medical Director of an inpatient eating disorders program) and Addictions. Dr. Mandal’s clinical focus at this time is in treatment-resistant psychiatric disorders, the interface between psychiatry and general medicine and addictions.
Dr. Mandal is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and Colorado State Medical Association. He is also a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
Roderick O’Brien, MD
Clinical Director of Adult Intensive Treatment Services, Staff Psychiatrist
The Director of the Intensive Treatment Unit, Dr. Roderick Shields O’Brien has joined the Centennial Peaks Hospital team from his previous experience as Medical Director of a Colorado community mental health center. Before leading the medical team at one of our community partners, Dr. O’Brien practiced neurology during his service in the United States Air Force. In addition to completing residency training in both psychiatry and neurology at Indiana University, he is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine. Dr. O’Brien attended medical school also at Indiana University. He received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame. He is an accomplished author, with publications concerning the immune system’s relationship with psychiatric illnesses.

Andrew Loftin received his undergraduate degree in sports medicine from Colorado State University and completed his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Barry State University in Florida. Andrew was a Physician Assistant at the Greeley Medical Clinic and then went on to work at the Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado. Andrews brings his experience in Internal Medicine to provide excellent patient care at Centennial Peaks Hospital.
