Detox Program for Adults
Centennial Peaks Hospital provides medical detox with 24-hour nursing care and medication management. We provide physical and emotional support during withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs. Detox from drugs and alcohol is the first step toward recovery and can be the first step in entering other programs offered by the hospital. Detoxification usually lasts from three to seven days, and once it is completed, we work with the patient to create a firm, customized addiction recovery plan.
Our clinical team is comprised of a team of nurses, case managers, social workers, therapists, psychiatrist, and other mental health specialists who will help determine the most appropriate course of treatment. As soon as a patient is admitted, we begin planning for a successful return to the community and daily life. These plans may include continuing care with the attending physician, partial hospitalization, an outpatient treatment program or other community resources.
