Acute Inpatient Care for Adults
The adult inpatient program at Centennial Peaks treats patients ages 18 and older. We provide psychiatric stabilization and around-the-clock nursing care for patients experiencing critical symptoms and mental health issues, such as suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, and/or psychotic episodes. The primary goal of the program is to relieve symptoms of emotional crisis and help the patient regain control of his or her life.
Our clinical team is comprised of a team of nurses, case managers, social workers, therapists, psychiatrist, and other mental health specialists. This team works with each patient individually to develop a customized treatment plan. As soon as a patient is admitted, we begin planning for a successful return to the community and daily life. These plans may include continuing care with the attending physician, partial hospitalization, an outpatient treatment program or other community resources.
