Mental health and chemical dependency problems impact the home, work and family life of many adults. Centennial Peaks Hospital offers a confidential, caring environment that promotes crisis resolution, positive self-awareness, coping skills and personal growth.

Mental Health

Centennial Peaks Hospital offers the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) to adults 18 and older who are experiencing:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Emotional problems
  • An inability to carry out daily activities
  • Significant decrease in functioning at home/work with family and friends

Treatment includes:

  • Group Therapy Sessions
  • Development of interpersonal skills, coping skills, and relaxation skills
  • Management of symptoms
  • Mood stabilization
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) emphasizes the important role of thinking in how we feel and what we do. It says that when our brains are healthy, it is our thinking that causes us to feel and act the way we do, and we can control that to some degree.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) focuses treatment on emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness and interpersonal effectiveness.

Day Program: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
